1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Fleet-Dex is being designed and developed with accessibility in mind.
Our goal is to provide an experience that supports common accessibility needs across the Fleet-Dex public website and application, including areas such as:
- Account creation and sign-in
- Fleet dashboards
- Vehicle-management workflows
- Maintenance records
- Expense and cost tracking
- Forms and data-entry screens
- Navigation
- Reports and records
- Help and support resources
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we expect to continue improving the platform as Fleet-Dex evolves.
2. Accessibility Practices
Fleet-Dex seeks to incorporate commonly recognized accessibility practices into the design and development of the Service.
These practices may include:
- Clear and consistent page structure
- Descriptive headings and labels
- Keyboard-accessible navigation
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Readable typography
- Sufficient color contrast
- Meaningful link and button text
- Form labels and instructions
- Alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate
- Responsive layouts for different screen sizes
- Logical navigation order
- Support for browser zoom and text resizing
- Error messages intended to be understandable and actionable
- Use of semantic web elements where practical
- Compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies
Fleet-Dex may refine these practices over time as the product, technology, and applicable accessibility standards evolve.
3. Accessibility Standards
Fleet-Dex uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium as a reference framework for accessibility improvements.
Our current development goal is to follow relevant WCAG 2.2 Level AA principles where reasonably practical.
However, Fleet-Dex does not currently represent that every page, feature, document, workflow, or third-party integration has been independently audited or formally certified as conforming to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing development and quality-improvement process.
5. Screen Readers and Assistive Technology
Fleet-Dex seeks to support common assistive technologies by using:
- Descriptive text
- Semantic HTML
- Form labels
- Accessible names for controls
- Heading structure
- Appropriate status and error messaging
Compatibility may vary depending on:
- Browser
- Operating system
- Screen reader
- Device
- Browser extensions
- User settings
- Third-party components
We welcome feedback regarding specific assistive-technology combinations that do not work as expected.
6. Visual Accessibility
Fleet-Dex seeks to provide a visually understandable experience through practices such as:
- Readable font sizes
- Appropriate contrast
- Clear visual hierarchy
- Consistent interface elements
- Limited reliance on color alone to communicate important information
- Responsive layouts
- Support for browser zoom
Some graphical information, charts, vehicle photographs, uploaded documents, or third-party content may have accessibility limitations.
7. Forms and Data Entry
Fleet-Dex contains forms used for activities such as adding vehicles, entering mileage, recording maintenance, managing expenses, and configuring account settings.
We seek to make these forms understandable by providing:
- Associated field labels
- Clear instructions
- Required-field indicators
- Validation messages
- Error descriptions
- Logical form order
Where possible, errors should identify the affected field and provide information that helps the user correct the issue.
8. Documents and User-Uploaded Content
Fleet-Dex may allow customers to upload documents, photographs, receipts, invoices, registration records, and other files.
Fleet-Dex cannot guarantee the accessibility of content uploaded by users.
Examples may include:
- Scanned documents
- PDF files
- Images containing text
- Photographs
- Vendor invoices
- Maintenance reports
- Registration documents
The accessibility of user-provided materials is generally the responsibility of the person or organization uploading that content.
9. Third-Party Services
Fleet-Dex may rely on or integrate with third-party services such as:
- Authentication providers
- Payment processors
- Email services
- Cloud infrastructure
- Analytics services
- Embedded tools
- Artificial intelligence services
- Customer-support services
Fleet-Dex does not fully control the accessibility of third-party products or interfaces.
Where practical, we seek to select and configure third-party services in a manner that supports the overall accessibility of Fleet-Dex.
10. Known Limitations
Although Fleet-Dex works to improve accessibility, some areas may not yet function perfectly with every accessibility technology or configuration.
Potential limitations may include:
- Newly released features
- Complex interactive dashboards
- Charts or data visualizations
- Third-party interfaces
- Uploaded documents
- Certain mobile-device combinations
- Legacy content
- Browser-specific behavior
When we identify accessibility barriers that materially affect use of the Service, we will evaluate reasonable options for improvement.
11. Accessibility Feedback
We welcome feedback from users who encounter accessibility barriers.
If you experience difficulty accessing Fleet-Dex, please tell us:
- The page or feature you were attempting to use
- What you were trying to accomplish
- The accessibility barrier you experienced
- The browser or device you were using, if relevant
- The assistive technology you were using, if applicable
- How we can contact you regarding the issue
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card information, or other sensitive credentials as part of an accessibility request.
12. Assistance and Alternative Access
If an accessibility issue prevents you from accessing information or completing an important Fleet-Dex function, please contact us.
Where reasonably possible, Fleet-Dex will work with you to:
- Identify the issue
- Provide assistance
- Offer the requested information in another reasonable format
- Identify an alternative way to complete the task
- Evaluate whether the underlying accessibility issue can be corrected
13. Response to Accessibility Requests
Fleet-Dex will make reasonable efforts to review accessibility reports and respond appropriately based on:
- The nature of the issue
- The affected feature
- Available technical options
- The urgency of the request
- The complexity of the correction
Some accessibility improvements may require software changes and may not be available immediately.
14. Ongoing Improvement
Fleet-Dex views accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
As the Service develops, accessibility may be considered during:
- User-interface design
- New feature development
- Software testing
- Content creation
- Product updates
- Customer feedback review
- Selection of third-party technology
We may periodically revise this Accessibility Statement to reflect improvements to the Service and our accessibility practices.
